McCarley’s Jewelry , the oldest jewelry store in Longview has been located in The Village at 2002 Judson Road since 1988, after spending the previous 68 years in downtown Longview. The store is a cornerstone of local history and stands tribute to the many generations of local merchants who have dedicated themselves to their customers.
A tour of the store is a step back in time. The antique display cases and matching wall cases with their distinctive glass doors are relics of a by-gone era and date to the turn of the 20th century. Authentic stained-glass sign panels in the windows date from the mid 1920’s. These items are a link to the earliest merchants of Longview. 
The store’s trademark 14’ high street clock stands in front of the store. It was originally installed at the downtown location in 1921 and became a town landmark. Printed on the clock’s dial face was “McCarley’s Standard Time”, but the clock also became Longview’s timekeeper.
